Information meeting at Master in IT

Are you interested in enhancing your technical skills in modern security technologies? Would you like to learn how to establish defensive mechanisms to secure and protect your IT systems and infrastructure in the long term?

Perhaps you want to gain expertise in managing and visualizing complex data and be able to detect the unexpected in your data sets?

Or do you need knowledge of Data Science concepts, data mining and machine learning so you can design and develop complete, advanced Big Data solutions?

If any of these competency areas resonate with you, then consider signing up for our online information meeting on Friday, 19 April, 10:00 to 11:00 am, at the Master of IT.

At the meeting, you will learn about the three courses scheduled for the autumn of 2024 in the software construction programme. You will also meet the teachers who will be leading the courses and get the opportunity to ask them questions. The presentations will be in English, as the courses in the autumn will also be taught in English.

Meeting Programme: 

• Brief presentation of the Master of IT by Bettina Lundgaard Hansen, Head of Development at It-vest.
• Presentation of the course Modern Security with Cutting-Edge Technologies by Jens Myrup Pedersen, Professor at Aalborg University.
• Presentation of the course Data Science and Big Data by Manfred Jaeger, Associate Professor at Aalborg University.
• Presentation of the course Visual Analytics by Hans-Jörg Schulz and Davide Mottin, both associate professors at Aarhus University.

The application deadline for the three above-mentioned courses is June 1, 2024.

About the Master of IT

The programme of Master of IT is intended for employees in private and public companies working with IT. The programme is business-oriented and offers a wide range of subjects. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge and competencies to strengthen your existing skills and enable you to take on new IT-related tasks.

The master programme is offered by the University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University and Aarhus University as part of the It-vest collaboration.
